Manavata (as Humanity in Sanskrit) – the human virtue of tending and befriending others through love, kindness and social intelligence. Conceived and driven by young entrepreneur Srinivasa Alluri’s vision a voluntary, non-profit, humanitarian organization, was born over two decades ago.
Manavata’s striving purpose has been to create a Healthy, Happy and Harmonious (3H) world. Manavata spreads 3H consciousness through each volunteer, each standing for a selfless cause and setting an example themselves.
Today, Manavata runs several social initiatives in health, education, environment and humanitarian aid worldwide through its own initiatives and also acting as a platform for other organisations.
With over 57 chapters in 10 countries and growing, its activities encompass Tree Plantation, Natural Farming, Humanitarian Aid, Value Based Education, Child care, Blood donation, Healthy Living and Self-employment Training.
Manavata’s relentless work over the past two decades has been awarded with a special consultative status at the United Nations ECOSOC in 2012.
Manavata UK has been supported by volunteer network that actively engages with local communites to increase awareness on healthy living, harmonious social attitudes, value based education etc. Classes are conducted on various topics like yoga, vedic math, Indian classcial music etc.
Manavata UK also conducts annual campaigns, namely “Cycling for Humanity”.
